Royalty

Ever since Cyrus the Great claimed a purple tunic as his royal uniform, way back in 550 BC, purple has always been the color of royalty.  During Roman times, a commoner wearing purple could be sentenced to death!  Why the connection between this color and kingly status?  The answer is "sea snails."  Purple dye came from carefully harvested sea snail mucus; it took as many as 250,000 mollusks to produce a single ounce of dye.  Not the easiest color to produce.

Now you can claim the royal color without harming a single snail!  Royalty is a 7-piece polyhedral dice set perfect for use in tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder.  The dice are pearlescent purple with silver highlights and light gold-painted numbers.  The quantities and sizes are as follows:
