Inspired by Monsters

In Dungeons and Dragons the term "monster" is used to describe pretty much "any creature that can be interacted with and potentially fought and killed."  From the lowliest worm to the most ancient and fearsome Wyrms, all creatures are monsters.  That said, some monsters are more iconic, evocative, and engaging than others, and many of the monsters in D&D are truly unforgettable.  Encountering these fantastic creatures is a thrilling part of the roleplaying experience.
